Popular actress Khabonina Qubeka is replacing socialite Khanyi Mbau in the new season of Mzansi Magic’s AboMama series.
Sowetan Live reports that Khanyi opened up about giving up her AboMama role saying, “It pains me that I couldn’t join the cast and production.
“I am involved in another project and sadly it clashed with my schedule and my contract wouldn’t allow me to be on another set.
“It was an unfortunate timing issue. I trust the Khabo will kill it and wish this season all the best.”
It is not a secret that Khanyi has something in the pipeline with Netflix.
The socialite has recently been fending off rumours that she is expecting.
She sent tongues wagging after sharing on Instagram a picture of herself wearing a dress that appeared to show a bump on.
On Tuesday, Khanyi who readily admits to lightening her skin posted a Netflix teaser on Twitter.
