Real Madrid defender Raphaël Xavier Varane is on his way to Manchester United for a reported £50 million transfer fee.

Manchester United confirmed on Friday a deal had been agreed to transfer the Frenchman from the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium to Old Trafford.

Varane’s silverware list boasts 18 trophies: four Champions League titles, four Club World Cups, 3 European Super Cups, 3 League titles, one Copa del Rey and three Spanish Super Cups.

Varane also won the World Cup with France in 2018

🇫🇷 “I think Varane is a top quality player, that would be a great signing for #MUFC.”

🔴 “That’s what Man United need to do! Make signings & get close to #MCFC.”
