Two men died Thursday morning when three cars collided along the M7 east bound, near the Bellville Road area in Queensburgh, eThekwini.
Emer-G-Med said the fatal multiple vehicle crash occurred Just after 6am.
“On arrival on scene paramedics were met with absolute mayhem as the twisted frames of three vehicles occupied the width of the roadway,” said Emer-G-Med.
“A light motor vehicle was found to have overturned.
“Reports from the scene are that two men suffered fatal injuries and were declared dead on arrival of paramedics.”
Emer-G-Med said two others sustained serious injuries and were treated and stabilised on scene by Advanced life support paramedics, before being taken to a nearby hospital.
