The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) is pleading with anyone who knows the whereabouts of Hillary – the daughter of Godrich Gardee, the party’s head of international relations – to reach out to the police and her family.
The EFF said 28-year-old Hillary went missing on Thursday, 29 April 2022.
Hillary had gone to the Super Spar Plaza in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, when she went missing.
The EFF said it was “saddened and concerned about” the disappearance of the daughter of the party’s former secretary general.
“Her disappearance has caused untold pain to the Gardee family, and tremendous sadness to all of us as the comrades of Commissar Gardee.”
The EFF said the high levels of violence against women and children in the country raised fears of the worst.
“We plead with anyone who knows the whereabouts of Hillary to reach out to the relevant law enforcement agencies and the family, and assist them in finding their beloved daughter,” said the EFF on Monday.
“All ground forces of the EFF in Mpumalanga must lend a helping hand in the search, to ensure that she is found alive, unharmed and well.
“The EFF calls for compassion and restraint to be shown to the family during this difficult time, as they focus on finding Hillary.”
