The Hawks are looking for Rassie Nkuna (Pictured above) in connection with the murder of a police officer and her sister.

The murders occurred on 15 May.

It is alleged that there was a dispute between Nkuna and his girlfriend, 43-year-old Marcia Mazibuko.

Marcia’s younger sister, 42-year-old Sergeant Pretty Mazibuko, tried to calm the situation.

Nkuna allegedly drew his firearm and shot both of them.

The sisters were rushed to a nearby clinic where they were certified dead on arrival.

The suspect fled the scene and remains on the run.

On Wednesday police appealed to anyone who knows the whereabouts of the double murder suspect – Rassie Nkuna – to contact the investigating officer, Lieutenant Colonel Steve Msiza on 082 304 0171 or Warrant Officer Mduduzi Mutubatse on 072 195 0185.

Alternatively, Crime Stop number can also be contacted on 08600 10111 or send information via MYSAPSAPP.

Police said all information will be treated with strictest confidentiality and callers may opt to remain anonymous.
