Fulham’s 3-0 win on Thursday night was the last straw for Aston Villa Football Club in England
The Birmingham side sacked head coach Steven Gerald after a poor run of form that has seen club win only two games of the 12 they have played so far.
The defeat at Craven Cottage was Villa’s sixth defeat in 11 league games, leaving the club in 17th place on the EPL log – one place above the relegation zone.
The former Liverpool fan favourite was in charge for 11 months before he got the chop.
Last season Villa finished in 14th place on the EPL log.
