Pretoria – The South African Weather Services (SAWS) on Monday issued a warning for possible severe thunderstorms in parts of Gauteng including Tshwane.

SAWS warns that the thunderstorms may result in minor impacts as a result of possible small hail, heavy downpours, and gusty winds.

The Tshwane Emergency Services said it was on high alert to respond to any incidents reported on its 107 toll-free emergency number.

Tshwane Emergency Services said: “We urge motorists and all community members to be vigilant in ensuring their safety and that of fellow citizens and loved ones”.
