Tyson Fury stopped Derek Chisora in the 10th round Saturday night to retain the WBC heavyweight belt in front of a sold-out 60 000-seater Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
The Gypsy King made easy work of Chisora with combinations that included uppercuts which frequently found the shorter man’s head.
Chisora, who was taking a lot of punishment, threw fewer and fewer punches with each passing round.
Fury, toyed with Chisora even sticking out his tongue during clinches, before unleashing several punches.
With his right eye badly swollen and his mouth bleeding, Chisora dubbed “War” put up a brave fight but he lost the battle in the 10th when the ref stopped the fight.
It was the third time Fury beat Chisora, but it was more like a boxing exhibition fight this time.
At 38, Chisora may call curtains on his boxing career having earned the biggest purse of his life.
Boxing fans are now hoping for a Fury versus Oleksandr Usyk undisputed WBA, WBC, IBF & WBO heavyweight bout.
In the undercard, South Africa’s Kevin “2 Guns” Lerena was knocked out in the third round by Briton Daniel Dubois, who was defending his WBA belt.
The South African had started well flooring Dubois three times, before the tables bizarrely turned.
