Just days after setting up a poll asking the Twitterrati if he should step down as head of Twitter, billionaire businessman Elon Musk has acceded to majority demands that he must quit.
“I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams,” Elon Musk tweeted.
On Monday Musk, who has been heavily criticised for the way he is running the platform, tweeted: “Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will abide by the results of this poll.”
Most of the Twitterati voted for Musk to go.
