The race to sign on loan highly rated Portuguese football star João Felix from Spanish club Atletico Madrid is intensifying.
English Premiership clubs Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United are said to be interested in the loan deal on offer for an estimated 15 million plus 6 million in salary for the remainder of the season.
Those in the know claim the premier league clubs will meet the 23-year-old’s agent, Jorge Mendes, this week to discuss the proposed loan deal.
Felix played for Portugal in the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, but there are fears the salary expectation and loan fees could prove to be a stumbling block.
If the deal is agreed, Felix would earn 6 million in just six months.
