SHARE

KwaMashu – All that remains of Wednesday’s deadly shooting that left two men dead is a bullet casing on the tarmac that has been marked with a yellow circle.

Emer-G-Med said just before midday on Wednesday paramedics together with multiple emergency service agencies, responded to the scene of a shooting incident in KwaMashu’s “A Section”

“On arrival on scene paramedics found the scene secured by members of private security and the South African Police Service (SAPS),” Emer-G-Med said.

“Closer inspection found two men to have sustained fatal gunshot wounds and they were declared dead on arrival of paramedics.

“The motive for the shooting and the events preceding it are unknown and will form the subject of a SAPS investigation.”

The names of the deceased have not been released.
