Johannesburg – Corridor Africa Technologies, a smart technology and solutions provider, has announced its commitment to supporting the state-planned digital infrastructure company in South Africa.

The company views the establishment of this new entity as a positive step towards addressing the country’s digital infrastructure challenges and providing reliable and affordable access to broadband internet for all South Africans.

The state-planned digital infrastructure company will be created through the merger of Sentech and Broadband Infraco (BBI), and Corridor Africa Technologies believes that the combined experience of these two companies will be invaluable in establishing the new entity.

The company is eager to see how the new company will materialise and will continue to closely follow the progress of the legislative and regulatory processes involved.

“We are excited about the potential of the state-planned digital infrastructure company and are committed to working with it to ensure that all South Africans have access to high-quality digital connectivity,” said Matone Ditlhake, CEO of Corridor Africa Technologies.

“As a company that operates in the digital infrastructure industry, we recognise the importance of reliable and affordable access to broadband internet for the success of many industries in South Africa.”

Corridor Africa Technologies offers excellence in smart technologies across multiple disciplines, including digital advisory, telecoms infrastructure solutions, and smart building solutions.

The company believes that its expertise in these areas can be invaluable in achieving the goal of providing reliable and affordable access to broadband internet for all South Africans.

Despite the challenges that state-owned entities have faced in South Africa, Corridor Africa Technologies believes that with the right governance structure and experienced leadership, the state-planned digital infrastructure company has the potential to avoid the same troubles that have plagued other state-owned entities.

The company is committed to working with the new entity to find ways to work with private sector companies to ensure that all South Africans benefit from the opportunities that digital connectivity provides.

“We are confident that with our ample experience, sheer brilliance, and strategic leverage, we can deliver complete end-to-end solutions that contribute to the success of this new company and the digital infrastructure industry as a whole,” he concludes.
