Pretoria Road Car Crash: Ejected Man Found Dead Early Friday Morning

DEADLY CRASH: A man in his 20s, who was ejected from a car when it overturned along Pretoria Road near the Botanical Garden, was found dead by Emer-G-Med paramedics early Friday morning

Pretoria – A man in his 20s, who was ejected from a car when it overturned along Pretoria Road near the Botanical Garden, has been found dead.

Emer-G-Med paramedics said the crash occurred in the early hours of Friday morning.

“On arrival on the scene a light motor vehicle was found to have overturned several times,” Emer-G-Med said.

“A man aged in his 20s was ejected in the rollover and was found with fatal injuries. He was declared dead on arrival of paramedics.”

Emer-G-Med said another man was found to have sustained critical injuries.

“Advanced life support intervention was needed to stabilise him before he was taken to a nearby hospital for further care,” Emer-G-Med said.

The South African Police Service is investigating the cause of the deadly crash.
