Durban – King Shaka International Airport management on Wednesday announced that its fuel system’s control had been shut down to repair a fault.
In a terse statement, management warned operations were likely to be impacted causing flight delays.
King Shaka International Airport management said that as a contingency measure, aircraft are being refueled using a mobile tanker.
“The airport operations team together with stakeholders are relentlessly trying to resolve the matter,” said the statement.
“We urge passengers to please contact their airline for further information.
“King Shaka International Airport would like to apologise to all passengers for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.”
