Johannesburg – The Ternary Media Group has told fans who bought tickets for Saturday’s cancelled Burna Boy show to contact Gregory Wings at greg@ternarymedia.com for a refund.

The botched Burna Boy show had been advertised for Saturday, (23 September 2023), at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa.

However, owing to the massive ticket scandal that has engulfed the show the Grammy Award winner will not be performing.

Ternary Media Group, which said it was bringing Burna Boy to Joburg in association with the Human Plug now claims the show was sabotaged.

Disappointed fans who had been promised an “electrifying night of music and entertainment” have been left in the lurch.

Organisers possibly collected as much as R10 million through advance ticket sales, some media reports suggest.

Ternary Media Group CEO Sedote Nwachukwu is telling anyone who cares to listen that Gregory Wings, the CFO of Ternary Media Group, took the cash for the tickets sold.

Gregory Wings has since returned to the USA.

“While In South Africa, he [Gregory Wings] represented the Ternary Media Group and was the only contact that liaised with Ticket Pro, suppliers as well as the FNB stadium,” said Nwachukwu.

“He then opened bank accounts which he deposited money into, from tickets that were printed out at Ticket Pro.”

Nwachukwu added: “The company would like to sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused as we appreciate all our fans and are dedicated to bringing more shows in the future”.

The Bulrushes has not yet been able to get comment from the Nigerian artist.
