Cape Town – The city is gearing up for Cape Town Investors Week during which over 500 top global investors will set their feet in the city to celebrate Africa’s booming tech ecosystem.
Cape Town boasts a network of over 450 tech firms, and with its breathtaking, scenic views and interconnected tech nodes within the ecosystem that is among the best in the world, the city has earned its name as Africa’s Silicon Valley.
It is here, in the midst of a city renowned for pioneering ideas and technology across various sectors and disciplines that has transformed the way the world does things, Cape Town is the perfect place for the global tech village to convene, collaborate, and share knowledge, expertise, and insights that will catapult Africa’s tech ecosystem into the future.
The fact that over 500 investors are arriving in Cape Town ahead of the festive season makes Alderman James Vos, the City of Cape Town’s Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth, smile.

A Tech Fest For Everyone, Showcasing Africa’s Top Tech Talent
There is a smorgasbord of tech-oriented events and side events, with something for everyone to enjoy in the city, with different events targeting a specific sector within the investor ecosystem in some of the city’s most beautiful and historic spots.
At the heart of all the thrilling tech excitement are a series of AfricArena events, with the Cape Town VC Unconference and Founders Bootcamp kicking off this weekend from 2 – 4 December 2023; the AfricArena Grand Summit taking place from 5 – 6 December and the Cape Town Learning Expedition on 7 December.

AfricArena Grand Summit Is The Largest Dealroom in the City, Igniting Opportunities
