Manzini – An extradition case against the two South African brothers implicated in the murder of popular rapper AKA and his friend chef Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane, was again adjourned on Tuesday by the Manzini Magistrate’s Court.
Defence lawyers requested more time to study the extradition application for the two brothers – Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande – that were recently submitted to the court by South African authorities.
The lawyers had issues with the details of the extradition papers and also had concerns about the safety of the arrested brothers.
The court in Manzini agreed to adjourn the matter.
The accused Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande will be back in court next month on 14 May 2024.
The pair will remain in custody in the Kingdom of Eswatini.
Once the two brothers are brought back to South Africa they will join several other suspects arrested for the same murders.
The other five accused 30-year-old Lindokuhle Thabani Mkhwanazi, 35-year-old Lindani Zenzele Ndimande, 21-year-old Siyanda Eddie Myeza, 29-year-old Lindokuhle Lindo Ndimande, and 36-year-old Mziwethemba Harvey Gwabeni have been remanded in custody in Durban.
Their bail application was adjourned to May.
All the seven suspects allegedly had roles in the murder of the popular rapper and his celebrity chef friend.
AKA, also known as “SuperMega” whose real name was Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, and Tibz were fatally shot outside a restaurant on Florida Road on 10 February 2023.

All the accused face serious charges that include murder, conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, and unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition.
