Johannesburg – Police in Honeydew have seized a consignment of cocaine with an estimated street value of R300 million during an intelligence-driven operation in Northriding.
The drug bust was carried out on Saturday, 12 September 2026, at about 20:30.
Acting on a tip-off, police swooped on a plot in Northriding, where the illicit drugs were found.
During the operation, police also seized a black Land Cruiser SUV after it was allegedly found displaying false registration numbers and with an allegedly altered Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
However, no arrests have been made at this stage.
Police said investigations were continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the seizure.
