Johannesburg – Much-loved radio and television presenter Thabiso Enid Sikwane has passed away.

“It is with profound sadness to announce the passing of Thabiso, whose dedication and passion for Christ, family life, and the media and entertainment industry left an indelible mark on colleagues and audiences alike,” her family announced on Saturday, (31 August 2024).

During her illustrious career on radio and television, she produced, hosted, and covered significant events, shaped narratives, and inspired many.

“We are deeply saddened by this loss, and pray her legacy will continue to inspire future generations,” her family said in a terse statement.

“Memorial and Funeral arrangements will be communicated in the coming days.”

The statement released by family spokesperson Thami Ngubeni, attributed to the Sikwane and Matladi families, did not give details of her passing.

Thabiso was married to popular DJ Thato “Fresh” Sikwane for two decades, before they separated in 2022, according to media reports.

The couple has three children together, two boys and a girl.

Thabiso was on the WAW podcast, which was posted on YouTube a day before her family announced her passing.
