Ballito Pro Festival: Sea, Sound, Waves Celebration Is In Full Swing

Durban – The 56th Ballito Pro Presented by O’Neill is in full swing, celebrating the festival theme Sea. Sound. Waves.

On Tuesday,1 July 2025, the iLembe Surf Riders Association held a fundraiser at La Fiamma Grill to support the iLembe Surf Development programme, featuring live music, raffles, and an exciting auction.

The Litter4Tokens Environmental Campaign is making waves at Willard Beach with over 20 trained collectors tracking recycling and nurdle removal in real time.

Visitors can join the Mermaid Tear Catcher challenge and help keep our oceans clean.

After the last heat today, don’t miss the Pro’s vs Musos clash, where world #1 Jordy Smith (Durban) will be hitting the water for a fun showdown of surf and sound today after the last heat of the day.

Meanwhile, the free Ballito Pro Music Concerts Presented by Corona kicked off yesterday at Salt Rock Main Beach, showcasing top South African artists like Matthew Mole, DJ Merlon, Kyle Cassim, and many more.

The party continues tonight and Friday from 5:30 pm with Corona Sunset Sessions, Battle of the DJs, and After Dark events.
