Johannesburg – In a rare shift in South Africa’s tech sector, Britehouse has returned to local ownership following a management buyout from its global parent, NTT DATA.

Now operating as a standalone business, Britehouse Mobility is embarking on a new era of innovation and independence following the buyout transaction for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition from NTT DATA marks a pivotal moment in Britehouse Mobility’s journey.

“After several successful years operating as part of the global NTT DATA group, Britehouse is excited to return to its roots as an independent, South African-led business,” said Graham Parker, Executive Chairman at Britehouse.

“The future of business requires agility, intelligence, and innovation.

“As an independent entity, we now can be more agile and responsive to our customers’ needs.

“We look forward to working with and welcoming both our existing and new customers.

“This change gives us the agility to better meet their needs by delivering advanced software engineering, tailored solutions, and AI integration that make measurable impacts.

The partnership with NTT DATA contributed significantly to Britehouse Mobility’s growth and global reach.

For Britehouse, the change enables more agility with a focus on homegrown digital solutions to local and global complexities.

The strategic move reflects a renewed commitment to innovation, agility, and delivering specialised digital solutions with greater autonomy.

Following the deal, Britehouse Mobility will operate as a fully independent company, now known simply, as Britehouse, marking a fresh chapter in its 16-year legacy of delivering innovative solutions and AI integration to businesses across various industries.

Britehouse enables organisations to optimise operations, accelerate transformation, and thrive in an increasingly digital-first world by combining human expertise with AI-powered efficiency.

“By combining human expertise with AI-powered efficiency, we are committed to providing solutions that optimise operations, deliver measurable results, and generate clear returns on investment,” says Graham.

“We are privileged to be a key player for many of our customers as they embark on their AI journeys.”

Under its renewed vision, Britehouse remains committed to its core values of responsiveness, innovation, integrity, and passion, ensuring that clients receive solutions that meet their forever-changing needs.
