Johannesburg – Real Madrid fans will get a chance to see what new coach Xabi Alonso has been plotting ahead of the La Liga season when his rejuvenated side takes on Austrian Bundesliga team Wattener Sportgemeinschaft (WSG) Tirol.
Alonso’s men will be playing a warm-up match at the Tivoli Stadion Tirol in Innsbruck, Austria, this evening (7 pm CEST; Realmadrid TV).
Realmadrid.com reports that the match will be a chance for the Whites to continue their preparations for the start of the official competition, which will take place in a week against Osasuna.
The Navarrese side will visit the Bernabéu on matchday one of LaLiga (Tuesday, 19 August, 7 pm CEST).

Realmadrid.com further reports that Bellingham, Mendy, Endrick, and Camavinga, who continue with their recovery programmes, and Valverde are absent from the squad, in which the Madrid coach has named all his available players.
Fans could see Álvaro Carreras make his debut as a Madridista.

The opposition
The Austrian Bundesliga outfit WSG Tirol, based in the town of Watten, who have already been involved in official competition, will be up against them.
They have already played three matches: two league games, which ended in victories, and a cup tie, in which they beat FCM Traiskirchen (0-4).
