DUO IN CHARGE: Coaches Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze will lead the Kaizer Chiefs technical team after the departure of Head Coach Nasreddine Nabi

Johannesburg – Kaizer Chiefs have announced that Coaches Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze will lead the technical team for the remainder of the season.

In a statement, Amakhosi said following the announcement of a “mutual parting of ways between Kaizer Chiefs FC and Head Coach Nasreddine Nabi, the Club can confirm that Coaches Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze will lead the technical team for the remainder of the 2025/26 season”.

The Tunisian football manager and Chiefs parted ways on Friday, 10 October 2025, after weeks of speculation regarding his coaching badge levels; the Soweto giant had resolved to let him go.

Announcing Nabi’s departure, Amakhosi said: “Kaizer Chiefs FC and Head Coach Nasreddine Nabi hereby confirm that, following constructive engagements, they have mutually agreed to conclude their professional relationship on an amicable basis”.

Disgruntled fans have complained for weeks about the lack of results, and many have sarcastically described head coach Nabi as a “plumber”.
