Johannesburg – The Political Killings Task Team (PKTT), backed by other law enforcement units, conducted a search and seizure operation at Major General Feroz Khan’s apartment in an upmarket block in Houghton, Johannesburg.

Some reports suggest that Major General Khan from Crime Intelligence was present at the apartment with his lawyers during the raid in the morning on Sunday, 10 May 2026.

The Bulrushes has not yet independently verified these reports.

Meanwhile, police spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe has announced the arrest of two senior South African Police Service officers and a civilian for the illegal dealing and unlawful possession of precious metals following an intensive.

Although Brigadier Mathe did not name the arrested persons, news24 is reporting that Major General Feroz Khan and Major General Ebrahim Kadwa had been arrested for allegedly dealing in and unlawful possession of precious metals.

Brigadier Mathe said the arrested suspects were expected to appear before the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 11 May 2026.
