Pretoria – The police have arrested National Coloured Congress leader, MP Fadiel Adams, in connection with a case of fraud and defeating and or obstructing the course of justice.
The matter relates to serious allegations that he interfered with ongoing investigations into the 2017 murder of former African National Congress Youth League Leader, Sindiso Magaqa.
The MP was arrested on Tuesday, 5 May 2026, outside the Parliamentary Village in Cape Town.
Police officers were seen frog-marching MP Adams to a waiting van. He was locked in the back of the van before he was driven off to a police station.
