Johannesburg – The police have added a third person – Bongani Mthimkhulu – to the list of those wanted in connection with the murder case of 30-year-old Olorato Mongale.

WANTED BY POLICE: Philangenkosi Sibongokuhle Makhanya and Fezile Ngubane

“Bongani Mthimkhulu who is a friend to Philangenkosi Makhanya is also a wanted suspect in this case,” National police spokesperson, Brigadier Athlenda Mathe, said on Thursday, 29 May 2025.

Mongale’s body was found in Lombardy West on Sunday afternoon by the police with the assistance of community members, just hours after she was picked up from her residence in Athol by a man known only as “John,” who was driving a VW Polo.

Brigadier Mathe said investigations are continuing and the search for all suspects has reached a critical and sensitive stage.
