A 58-year-old gun-toting woman in the US with known links to militias says she wants to be elected as a governor.
Lieutenant Governor of Idaho Janice McGeachin, who appeared in a web video toting a Bible and handgun to protest safety policies connected to the outbreak, says she is seeking her party’s nomination for governor in the upcoming 2022 election.
The office is currently held by Brad Little, who is also a Republican.
McGeachin has accused Little of using his power to “harass and intimidate private business”.
