China on Thursday successfully launched the crewed spacecraft named Shenzhou-12 with three astronauts on board.
The crew – Nie Haisheng, Liu Boming, and Tang Hongbo – are expected to stay in space for 90 days as part of the country’s space station mission.
Seven hours after take-off the crew arrived safely at the China space station.
They will spend three months aboard the Tianhe module some 380km (236 miles) above the Earth.
