Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma is in mourning after the passing of her brother Mondli Reginald Dlamini at the weekend.

Dlamini Zuma was told of her brother’s passing shortly after casting her special vote in the local government elections on Saturday.

“The minister and the family have expressed gratitude for your messages of condolence and support during this difficult time,” said Lungi Mtshali, who spoke on behalf of Dlamini Zuma.

“The family will issue a statement with further details in due course.

“May Mr. Mondli Dlamini’s soul rest in eternal peace.”
