DJ Sumbody - real name John Sefoka - has died

Johannesburg – Dj Sumbody is dead.

The Amapiano artist and producer whose real name is John Sefoka lost his life in the early hours of Sunday.

He is popular for his hit songs that include, “Ayepyep”, featuring DJ Tira, Thebe, and Emza, and “Monate Mpolaye” featuring Cassper Nyovest and Thebe.

DJ Sumbody of Sumsounds Music is said to have run into an unfortunate incident that led to his passing.

Mmanake Mokitimi, the spokesperson for the bereaved Sefoka family, said “details surrounding his passing cannot be disclosed as investigations are still ongoing.”

Mokitimi added: “The Sefoka family and Sumsounds Music Management have kindly requested privacy during this difficult time”
