Isipingo – At least seven people died in a multi-vehicle collision – including a minibus taxi – along the M35 in the Isipingo area, south of Durban.
Emer-G-Med said paramedics on the scene Saturday night said as many as seven fatalities had been confirmed.
“Reports from the scene are that a minibus, a heavy-duty vehicle and multiple light motor vehicles have been involved in the collision,” Emer-G-Med said in a terse communique.
“The necessary authorities are in attendance and will be conducting the necessary investigation accordingly.”
SA Police Service officers were on the scene.
