Johannesburg – A memorial service for slain Amapiano artiste and producer DJ Sumbody – real name Oupa John Sefoka – has been scheduled for Wednesday.
Family spokesperson Mahlodi Legodi said: “The Sefoka family informs friends and fans on the details of the memorial and funeral service for the late Oupa John Sefoka popularly known as DJ Sumbody.
DJ Sumbody was gunned down in the early hours of Sunday, (20 November 2022). His driver was also shot dead.
They came under a hail of bullets when they stopped at a traffic light in Woodmead.
Police are still searching for the gunmen.

Legodi said the memorial service will take place on Wednesday at TBC, (23 November 2022), and the funeral on Saturday, (26 November 2022) at Ga-Masemola, Apel Fourways Cross, Johannesburg.
The “All White” themed memorial will be streamed live.
“The family has already appointed a funeral parlour and would like to thank everyone that has come forth with the willingness to assist,” said Legodi.
