Durban – A motorist thought to be 40 years old has been shot dead along Lenny Naidoo Drive in Chatsworth.
ALS Paramedics said Just after 3:15 they responded to a shooting incident along Lenny Naidoo Drive, near Havenside Drive.
“On arrival, Paramedics found SA Police Service (SAPS) already in attendance with the crime scene cordoned off,” ALS Paramedics said.
“Paramedics assessed a male, the driver of a vehicle, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and had unfortunately passed away as a result of his injuries.
“The man, believed to be approximately 40, was declared deceased on the scene.”
The events leading up to the shooting are unknown.
The SAPS is investigating, and no arrests have been reported.
