Hhoyi Trust – The police in Mpumalanga are asking the public to help “identify the person” whose skull was found next to the cemetery in Hhoyi Trust, Mpumalanga.
Earlier this week, community members, who were passing by, made the horror find on Tuesday, (13 February 2024), and alerted the police.
Mpumalanga police spokesperson Colonel Donald Mdhluli said: “Police are investigating an inquest case after a human skull was found next to the graveyard and railway line”.
He said the police were trying to find out whose skull it was.
“Any member of the public with information that may assist in achieving this goal can go to the nearest police station,” Colonel Mdhluli said.
“All received information will be treated as confidential and callers may opt to remain anonymous.”
People with information regarding the human skull have been asked to call the crime stop line at 08600 10111.
