Johannesburg – The golfing world is in mourning after top golfer Grayson Murray died Saturday morning at age 30.
Reacting to the untimely death, the PGA Tour posted on X: “We are devastated to learn – and are heartbroken to share – that PGA Tour Player Grayson Murray passed away this morning”.
The two-time PGA Tour winner, died one day after he withdrew from the Charles Schwab Cup Challenge at Colonial County Club in Texas, US.
Commenting on Murray’s death, PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan was quoted by AP as saying: “The PGA Tour is a family, and when you lose a member of your family, you are never the same. We mourn Grayson and pray for comfort for his loved ones.”
