Johannesburg – Former SAA board chairperson Dudu Myeni has died at the age of 60.

The Jacob Zuma Foundation has announced “with a heavy heart” that Myeni its Chairperson, passed on Friday night.

No details of the cause of her death were released.

However, Myeni had been the subject of a corruption case that had stalled owing to her ill health.

Myeni was arrested in September 2023 along with former Sondolo IT Director, Trevor Mathenjwa, over charges linked to Bosasa corruption amounting to R300 000.

Myeni and Mathenjwa were out on R10 000 bail each.

The last time her matter was due in court in May it was adjourned to later this year because Myeni was not well.

“The family is still dealing with these sad developments and will not be entertaining any media inquiries,” the Jacob Zuma Foundation said on X.
