KwaZulu-Natal Horror Bus Crash: Death Toll Rises To 8

Durban – The number of church members who died in a bus crash on Sunday along the N2 between Mandeni and Stanger has increased to eight.

The bus, which was carrying church members from Richards Bay to Shakaskraal, crashed after a tire burst.

Initially, reports from the scene said six people had lost their lives, but an update from the authorities said another person had succumbed to injuries.

Not long after, the eighth person also lost their battle to injuries.

KwaZulu-Natal Transport and Human Settlements MEC Siboniso Duma has expressed his condolences to the families of the victims.
