Nedbank Cup Final: PRASA To Transport Fans To Moses Mabhida Stadium

Durban – The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) has announced additional train services for the sold-out Nedbank Cup Final between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday, (10 May 2025).

To ease traffic congestion and ensure an enjoyable experience for fans, PRASA said it will operate dedicated train services connecting regional stations to Moses Mabhida Station.

Services will be available from the following stations:

• Umlazi

• KwaMashu

• Cato Ridge

• Pinetown

• Bridge City

• Crossmoor

From Durban Station, fans will take the connection to Moses Mabhida Station.

Durban Station to Moses Mabhida:

The train shuttle service from Durban Station to Moses Mabhida Station will be available every 15 minutes from 11:30 to 16:00 and resume back from Moses Mabhida Station to Durban Station from 17:30 to 20:00

The return ticket price for all corridors operational on Saturday, 10 May 2025, will be R20.

Park & Ride Facility:

For those spectators who wish to park at the stations and utilise the train, there will be a park and ride service between Umlazi Station, Kwa Mnyandu Mall, and Durban Station to Moses Mabhida Station.

The Park and Ride service will be included in the train ticket price.

Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to purchase their return train tickets at the stations, and are advised to adhere to the train schedules to ensure timely arrival and departure from Moses Mabhida Stadium.
