Xilaveko was last seen on Monday, 22 December 2025, at around 06:00, when arrangements were made for her father, who resides separately from her mother within the same village, to accompany her to Giyani for Christmas shopping.

“The pair travelled to Giyani on the same day but never returned, and their cellphones have since been switched off,” said police spokesperson, Sergeant Mienkie Ramakgoakgoa.

“At the time of her disappearance, Xilaveko Suke was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans with side pockets, a grey jersey, and white sandals.”
