Ekurhuleni – The Executive Mayor of the City of Ekurhuleni, Cllr Sivuyile Ngodwana has announced his 10-member Mayoral Committee, whose members will be sworn in Thursday.
“The composition of the Mayoral Committee includes seasoned community activists who are committed to service delivery excellence and good governance,” the new mayor said.

Mayor Ngodwana added: “The appointment of the Mayoral Committee will mark a turning point in the City of Ekurhuleni, towards restoring the dignity of the residents of the Metro.”
The Members of the Mayoral Committee are as follows:
- MMC for Finance: EPMO, Information and Communication Technology and Service Delivery Coordination – Cllr Nkululeko Dunga
- MMC for Water, Sanitation, and Energy – Cllr Leshaka Manamela
- MMC for Transport Planning, Roads and Stormwater – Cllr Andile Mgwevu
- MMC for Community Services: Health, Social Development, and SHRAC – Cllr Bridget Thusi
- MMC for Infrastructure Services: Real Estate – Cllr Kgopelo Hollo
- MMC for Community Safety: EMPD and DEMS: Cllr Sizakele Masuku
- MMC for Corporate and Shared Services: Human Resources, Communications and Brand Management, Strategy, Risk, Legal, and Internal Audit – Cllr Nkosindiphile Xhakaza
- MMC for Human Settlement – Cllr Masele Madihlaba
- MMC for City Planning and Economic Development – Cllr Nomadlozi Nkosi
- MMC for Environment and Waste Management Services – Cllr Eunice Matloga
Mayor Ngodwana said he wishes the members of the Mayoral Committee all the best on their mammoth task of delivering services to the impoverished masses of the City of Ekurhuleni.
The swearing in ceremony will be held on Thursday, (6 April 2023), at the Mayoral Parlor, OR Tambo Government Precinct.
