Looking back on 2024, I am filled with gratitude for the incredible opportunities and milestones that helped shape my journey as a storyteller, writer, and advocate for change.

It was a year of learning, growth, and a deepened commitment to impactful storytelling.

The first quarter of the year saw me completing the Oxford School of Climate Change by Oxford Climate Society, an experience that greatly enhanced my understanding of the global climate crisis and its solutions.

In the second quarter, I began my journey with the African Students For Liberty Writing Fellowship, which has been a transformative space for honing my writing skills and amplifying critical issues affecting Africa.

At the same time, I became part of the Future Africa Fellowship, where I gained valuable tools and networks to drive transformative change within Africa’s political and social landscape, particularly in policy development.

As for my publication work, I continued contributing to The Bulrushes as a columnist, focusing on social, climate, and security issues across Africa and MARKETING AFRICA, where I had the privilege of writing my first cover story, diving deep into the nuances of sustainability in African marketing.

My collaboration with Level the Playing Field in Development (LPFDev) also led to the creation of a five-article series on climate justice in the Global South, an effort I’m immensely proud of.

In addition, I took on the role of Research Officer at Old World Order, where I focus on uncovering and analysing key global issues, aligning with the organisation’s mission to spotlight historically overlooked communities and my own commitment to driving meaningful change.

A significant turning point in 2024 came at the end of the year, when I made the decision to leave my role as Sales Representative at Verec Electrical after six years.

While the job served me well, I knew it was time to fully dedicate myself to my passion for storytelling and social advocacy.

This decision marked the beginning of an uncertain yet thrilling new chapter.

While I don’t know exactly what the future holds, I can feel it in my gut that something big is on the horizon.

I’m filled with excitement about the journey ahead and the possibilities that await as I fully dedicate myself to using storytelling to drive change and impact.

It’s a leap of faith, but one that I’m ready to take, knowing that the path will lead to something meaningful.

As I step into 2025, I am excited to embrace new opportunities to collaborate, write, and advocate for change.

Whether through storytelling, communications, or policy development, I am eager to connect with individuals and organisations working towards social good and environmental justice.

If you’re looking for a passionate writer or communicator who believes in the power of stories to create change, I am ready and excited to contribute to your work.

Feel free to reach out to me directly and let’s make a difference together.
