Johannesburg – Eric Tinkler has been unveiled as the new head coach for Sekhukhune United Football Club.
The former Cape Town City FC coach returns to the PSL just months after being sacked by the side from the Mother City in December 2024.
Tinkler, a former Bafana Bafana midfielder, has become a familiar face in South African football having coached several other top-flight football teams.
The 54-year-old has also coached at Chippa United, Maritzburg United, Orlando Pirates, and SuperSport United.
Tinkler takes over from Lehlohonolo Seema who left the club in fourth position on the PSL log after 20 games.
Tinkler’s coaching team includes Marc van Heerden, Paulus Masehe, and goalkeeper coach Nascent Nkhwashu.
