Former Real Madrid teammates Ronaldo and Benzema scored two goals each in Wednesday’s drawn EURO2020 Group F game between Portugal and France.

Ronaldo scored twice for Portugal from the penalty spot in the 30th and 60th minute.

The 36-year-old Juventus star kept defending champions in the tournament.

Benzema scored both goals for France – a penalty in additional time of the first half and a quick goal at the restart of the second half.

Both teams have qualified for the last 16. Portugal will face Belgium on Sunday.

The next opponents for France are Granit Xhaka’s Switzerland on Monday.

In the other Group F game, Germany and Hungary drew 2-all.

Hungary went in front through Szalai (11′). Germany equalised through Havertz (66′). Schäfer (68′) put Hungary in front again before Goretzka (84′) made it 2-2.

Germany will play against England in the last 16 on Tuesday.
