Johannesburg – Internationally renowned singer Celine Dion has cancelled her “Courage World Tour” that was scheduled to begin in August.
Organisers announced Friday that the “Courage World Tour” has been cancelled, nearly six months after the 55-year-old singer revealed she had been diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder that left her unable to sing.
“It is with tremendous disappointment that we announce the cancellation of the Courage World Tour,” organisers said.
Tickets purchased for the cancelled dates will be refunded via the original point of sale.
Apologising to fans, Celine said: Im so sorry to disappoint all of you once again.
“Im working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when youre 100%.
“Its not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, its best that we cancel everything now until Im really ready to be back on stage again.
“I want you all to know, Im not giving up and I cant wait to see you again!
