Pretoria – Sundowns on Tuesday introduced new signing Thapelo Maseko, a former SuperSport rising football star.
“The wait is over! Welcome to the Yellow Nation,” Sundowns said.
Last season, the 20-year-old left winger played in 24 matches for SuperSport in the DSTV premier league and scored four goals while contributing two assists.
Maseko was rumoured to be on the radar of Belgian side KVC Westerlo before he left Matsatsantsa for Sundowns.
Commenting on Maseko’s move to Sundowns, SuperSport Coach Gavin Hunt tweeted: “Good luck my boy, its been an absolute pleasure to coach you. All the best”.
